    Pole

  2. Nick says:

    Owned. (2)

  3. viz says:

Macs make clearer screen captures than Windows though.

    • Doc. says:

      Point taken there! NOT!

    • Nac says:

If it’s screenshots of a video, both screenshots would look the same. It’s not like viewing the same video on a Mac would make it full 1080p HD or something, as opposed to using a computer with Windows.

    • what? says:

clearer screen captures? how? i have absolutely nothing on my desktop. cept for my stardock which i stole from mac my pc is better than a mac in everyway. btw mines 32 bit so dont go bragging about 64 bit mac programs i cant use anyway. 32 bit windows pwns all

    • sam says:

who the fuck cares about screen caps ?!?!?!? go play some halflife 2 oh wait u cant

      • Connor says:

It’s funny how Valve announced Mac ports of Steam, HL2, Portal, TF2, etc. after you posted this. It was already being hinted at before you posted this comment.

Nevertheless, hilarious comic. I’m a dedicated PC gamer here. In terms of gaming, Mac really isn’t so great, and I’m not saying that because of software support, I’m saying that because of the obsolete and overpriced hardware. Windows has the upper hand because I can go out and buy a new graphics card whenever I want, whereas Apple’s all-in-one concept really doesn’t allow that for Mac.

Also, in terms of operating systems for general usage, not just gaming: Linux > Mac > Windows.

      • cockblock32 says:

actually they came out with halflife 2 for mac a month ago so suck on them nuts. But yes it is true macs suck, i was forced into getting one for school and i want to hang myself everyday

    • S says:

      yeah. screenshots ARE FUCKING IMPORTANT.

more important than playing games without having to surrender your soul to have an overly-hyped computer system.

    • SF Legend says:

      >implying a massive unnecessary border with drop-shadow somehow makes a clearer screenshot.

    • Ronderus says:

Lol. I love it when people with macs try to defend them with things that 99% of the world don’t give 2 shits about -_-

  4. factory says:

    Let’s kill Bill Gates.

  5. factory says:

-So windows, what are you doing?
    -Just rebooting… Again…

  6. LOL says:

    not funny.
macs can play all windows game too -.-

    • dweebiechimp says:

if you install boot camp and you know… install windows on it.

    • Loryxxx says:

not rly i bought both a mac and a pc and tried to download my favorite game on it and it didnt work on mac

    • MaxArt says:

      Ahah, THAT is funny, indeed!

    • Nerobus says:

There are some they can’t, unless you install windows on them. Then other times you can, but it’s UBER expensive. My friends and I play Age of Empires II against each other. We walked into Walmart, and bought 5 copies for $10 each. My Mac friend, could not do that, he had to hunt for it online and ended up paying $65 for it!!

      So yea, sucked for him.

    • FASF says:

      Macs can’t open .exe

    • computerkidt says:

um sure with an emulator tho like any emulator it need more resources then the thing its emulating so if a game need to have 2gb ram to run then you may need 3 or 4gb just to barely run it not to mention its more of a pain to do all that when you can just install and play much simpler

  7. BAReFOOt says:

The Mac IS a PC, dumbasses!
And The PC is NOT Windows. Mac OS X, Linux and Windows are ONLY operating systems. They all run on a device called the PC. And apart from Linux, the ONLY run there.

Apple and Microsoft. Distorting reality, one Luser at a time.

    • laurr says:

A mac is a Computer developed entirely by apple, both OS and Hardware wise(except the processor, video card and ram).

A PC(personal computer) is a Computer pre assembled or made with part form the same or different manufacture with and OS made by Microsoft or other software companies for free or money, with windows being the most popular OS for a PC.

      • Shurik says:

Mac develops hardware? No, it doesnt, it buys it from the same sources other manufacturers do… ati, nvidia, sapphire, abit, asus, etc make the hardware, sell it to apple, and it sells it back to you at 5x the price.

And OSX can run on just about anything, google “hackintosh” and stfu

        • odeed says:

I love playing Crysis on my Mac… Runs wonderfully through bootcamp. I’m a film student, though, so I really need Final Cut, which I am glad runs on a PC….. Wait, no it doesn’t. This image is about 4 years too late, next it’ll be saying that the mouse only has one button.

      • slayer says:

“A mac is a Computer developed entirely by apple,” …nope. I think youll find that when apple went bankrupt it was microsoft that helped them create the Mac.

    • Jaredvcxz says:

Yeah, except OSX can only run on Apple Macintosh computers. It’s part of their proprietary scheme.

And OSX and Windows both have ports to non-pc things such as PDAs. Except we call them iPhone and Windows CE.

But other than that, your statement is correct.

      • Gymnos says:

Ya’ know, although it’s very much not supported and breaches the license agreement of OSX, you very well can install OSX onto a PC. Look up the OSX Project. I did it on my netbook for shits and giggles, but couldn’t find a supported wi-fi driver. Oh well, I thought it was a terrible operating system anyway. :D

        • Jaredvcxz says:

Yeah I read about the OSX project a while ago. But I think if you get caught doing it, you could get sued or something. Apple is pretty tough on this stuff.

      • krayg says:

You can run OSX on pretty much any hardware

        • ethana2 says:

          HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAHAHAHHAAHAHAAAAAA

I’ve tried JaS, Kalyway, iDeneb…. OS X doesn’t have hardware support worth a darn.

    • XAVI says:

PC stands for personal computer btw

    • DoomRater says:

Um, no, no it is not.

The Mac has never been designed to be an IBM 100% compatible, which is what is required to call it a “Personal Computer” as the term for IBM 100% compatibles was coined.

Windows CE has been noted, Windows Mobile also runs on cell phones and frankly, Windows 7 architecture was supposed to run on small devices like cell phones as well.

Call me when you’re ready to stop projecting your own distortions into reality.

    • Windows Embedded runs on a lot of things that aren’t PC’s. Linux does, too (as you stated). I’m a big Microsoft fan (DON’T SHOOT!), but Linux does do embedded much better than Windows. Apple, on the other hand, had to resort to Boot Camp and actually have Windows installed to run more applications and games.

Regardless of the operating system, a PC is a PC. But, a Mac is predetermined, locked in, hardware. You can’t go piece together a Mac and have it work (well, Hackintosh doesn’t count). To be a fully legal, non-hacked, Mac, it has to come from Apple.

      Awesome comic, too. :)

    • PsychoDad says:

      Pedantic troll is pedantic.

Now please explain to us how “The Mona Lisa” isn’t really the name of that da Vinci painting.

  8. PC:Oh you know, Counter Strike, Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, all the games that you just can’t seem to get your head around.

    • f-off says:

      Captain O?

    • inket says:

Valve is working on a OS X version of their Steam and Source Engine.
Which means soon Macs will run HL, HL2, TF2, L4D, L4D2, CSS, Portal, Portal 2 etc.

    • Spudd86 says:

Actually all of those run fine under wine (http://www.winehq.org/ ) and wine runs on intel Macs as well as linux

    • Corran says:

You suck. These aren’t the best games it cannot play.

    • Larry says:

The funny thing is that all those games are coming to macs when Valve releases Steam on Macs.

However, we still get games that Mac’s can’t possibly understand, like Crysis, Dawn of War, Unreal Tournament, DOOM, and BF: Bad Company 2, and many, many more.

Besides, running any game on a Mac though bootcamp, or Wine, or any other software like that is terribly inefficient and will never run as well as they would on PC’s because they aren’t made to run on Macs. Even with Windows installed on them, they will not run as efficiently as if they would on a standard gaming PC.

      • supermx3 says:

pssst, bootcamp is not emulation, its native support just like running it on a “PC” with windows so bootcamp is just as efficient , just a FYI

      • At least two of those games you’ve mentioned have been on the mac for ages.

And yes, bootcamp is not emulation. It boots the mac in Windoze and Windoze controls the whole thing — just like your typical Windoze box, but with the proprietary adjusted mac hardware. Get your facts straight.

While we’re bashing Windoze — what about BIOS? Now what CRAP system uses a BIOS when the future is clearly in EFI or something better than EFI, but certainly BIOS has outlived its usefulness.

  9. serenagold says:

    WIN

  10. iNick says:

I think I have already seen this…. like months ago or somethin…

  11. A Jew says:

I JUST LOST THE GAME…. ARGGGGHHH

  12. Alex says:

Very good. And I’m a Mac. Yes I run Bootcamp/Parallels, but it’s not the same. And Damn you “A Jew” I just lost also :(

  13. R3 says:

You know, instead of games, you should have said “Everything you can do and more.” But then again, it might not have been as funny :V

  14. *hugs her new pc she built because you can do that with a pc*

    I love my gaming system.

    Win!!

  15. Zip Zop Zoobity Bop says:

Yeeaahhh, that’s why I can play WoW, with better graphics than my sister’s pc, on my Mac.

    • Gir says:

Yeeaahhh, because MMOs are sooooo graphically intensive, and WoW is the be-all-end-all of gaming, hahahahaha. If I want to use Garage Band for some reason, I’ll give Mac user a call. Until then, nope. I’ve had more problems with my roomie’s Mac then I’ve ever had with my desktop.

    • Anthony says:

So your big win on that is that you can manage a better frame rate on a game with an engine that hasn’t had a significant update in 5 years?
      Bravo.
I’m gonna go play Borderlands now.

    • Fire Breathing Ninja Cricket says:

WoW should be the last game you use to compare that. Try playing Dragon age or crysis and see how that works for you.

    • myntee says:

wow is about game play not graphics nub. every other mmorp game that has tried to compete with wow on that basis of graphics has failed miserably. case in point : aion.
      mac justification fail…..

  16. Netscie says:

I need a job oriented computer.. not a chick magnet wingman.. sorry Mac.

  17. Yoshi says:

Playing WoW well does not a gaming computer make, sorry.

  18. DoomRater says:

I’m gonna offer Mac a consolation prize here:

PC: Oh you know… all of them.
Mac: H-hey, Bungie made games for us a long time before they made games for XBox! And they were GOOD games!
PC: Yeah, and your fans sent them death threats for leaving.
    Mac:….
PC: So what other games can you play?
Mac: I can play DOS games!
    PC: Oh DOS games?
Mac: Can YOU play DOS games?
PC: Sure I can play DOS games! Lemme start up DOSBox…
Mac: Really? I use DOSBox too!
    PC: Really?!
Mac: Yeah, everyone can use DOSBox.
PC: Okay, maybe I started us off on the wrong foot…. truce?
    Mac: truce.

  19. Danny says:

Definitely wrong. All new mac computers come with “Boot Camp” that will install ANY other OS so, Mac computers are truly the most compatible with PCs.

    • Dan says:

I’m, sorry, but using the “word” most means that you are using a superlative, which means you must be strictly comparing at least three items. So, how does Mac the “most”?

    • Anthony says:

True enough, but the fact that you have to rely on OS virtualization for all that is a pain in the butt – not to mention you still have to go get a copy of windows. Why not just cut the bill in half, get comparable hardware for far cheaper and buy one OS that can do anything you need it to.
If security is the issue, dual-boot linux.

      • shifuimam says:

Boot Camp is not virtualization. Boot Camp emulates a BIOS so that Windows can boot natively on Mac hardware.

      • Yeah, like you don’t need a copy of Windoze to run on your PC? Oh wait… since when did Apple start offering a FREE legal copy of its OS with its computers — one that doesn’t have all that registration and activation crap??

Oh yeah, I know… since almost 10 years ago!

  20. Captain Awesome says:

Except for Uncharted 2, Halo 3, Heavy Rain, God of War….

  21. IphStich says:

Hahahahaha, i am laughing at all you loosers who are fighting over which is better.

But yeah, this made me ROFL!!! Mac can play like nothing, without bootcamp or other windows sims (in which case you can hardly say youre still using a mac).

    • Spudd86 says:

Well if you don’t want to use bootcamp wine is an option, but the compatibility is not as good…

    • Macs don’t have viruses. Pure win there. While you Windoze losers are reformatting your hard drives, transferring, scanning your GBs of files to make sure they don’t infect the next Windoze system you’ve installed for the 3rd time in half a year, running your Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam and Anti-Everythingmalware which in turn is taxing your system performance and giving you just about 60-80% performance of what you can really have, mac users can get on with getting work done on their computers instead of the computer having the user do the work for it.

That is, if we can resist jumping into these OS wars… ;)

      • ~ says:

You know, as long as you keep your anti virus software up to date and don’t go to many high risk websites, which is very easy, you will barely have to run it at all other than the weekly virus scan which is easily set up for a time when you know you aren’t going to use the computer. Not to mention that you don’t have to do any formatting to actually do things on it.

        • GothicMonkey says:

Stole the words from my mouth ^.^

Most of the people who get major viruses are either too careless, stupid or shouldn’t bother owning a computer >>

      • renewer says:

lol your gonna feel like a retard when virus makers feel that enough people have switched to mac to start infecting that system. the only difference will be that you will be completely unprepared for it and unable to do anything

  22. John says:

Playing Crysis,MW2,BF:Bad company and GTA IV makes a gaming computer.

  23. Sam says:

What’s funny is, you can see who has a Mac and who uses Windows based on the “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” part.

  24. Brain Brian says:

that doesn’t make sense… you can install windows on a mac or pc, so you can play all games on both…

PC isn’t an operating system, it’s just a sh*tty computer that can run OSes badly. you’re probably better off running windows on a mac cause it runs smoother and you’d probably enjoy the game experience more..

  25. ohnoezDx says:

    over played argument.

  26. gamer10104 says:

well all the thums down are frommac users XD

  27. 4 out of 5 dentists says:

Coke is way better than Pepsi

  28. Captain Planet says:

Apple makes quality computers. Sony and Nintendo make quality gaming machines. Microsoft makes faulty software and hardware that sometimes plays games(bad ones), that is when they haven’t crashed.

    • ~ says:

Wrong. The PS 3 is mainly just recycling games from the X-Box, which does have plenty of hardware problems, Nintendo rarely comes out with true gems that aren’t reusing old things or that are group games. Apple make quality computers that need some changing to actually use it for good gaming, and Microsoft, which does make flawed software, makes a pretty good OS that is compatible with various other software.

  29. One joke turns into a bunch of dumbasses arguing…. man. And I actually laughed at this one.

  30. Go PC says:

In short, Macs suck hard. Windows is very easy to maneuver, and it’s so hard to find the source of a problem in a mac, which they often have. I know, I have used one. Conclusion? PC wins.

    • Utter bullshit. Whenever I have a problem with a mac (which is rare) I can find the cause of the problem easily. Not the case with Windoze though, and I’ve been using Windoze quite a bit too.

      • GothicMonkey says:

Well i’ve never used a msc, but all my WINDOWS (learn to spell >>) computers work fine and problems are easily solved. i’ve never had a problem i couldn’t fix.

Like with vista. I just got windows 7. Problem solved ^.^

  31. Eric says:

Yeah, I don’t game on my computer. I just use consoles. Given that, my Mac works for computing purposes. :-)

  32. xians421 says:

I was at Fry’s in the game dept and asked the clerk ‘Where are all the Mac games?’ and he said ‘ in the men’s room between the toilet and the urinal’.

  33. Zero says:

I think Mac and PC like to network together…secretly….at night…when they’re alone together….^_^

  34. Alex says:

Hi, Im a mac and im an amazing COMPUTER.
Hi, Im a PC and i play video games…. congrats windows, you win?

    • jay says:

Hi, I’m a mac and I’m owned by a pretentious douche named Alex.

    • Anon says:

Games are usually a good indicator of how good a computer is, because they test out most aspects of the computer.
But even if we delve further, the mac does not surpass PC’s in anyway.
The only things that’s better is the shiny white case, but even that carries little wait because you can customize a PC to look however you want it too.
If you want to compare what you can get, look at what a PC user can get for $1000 and what a mac user gets for $1000.

      • Agree games are a good indicator of a computer’s performance and graphics capabilities, but in these days when you turn on your WIndoze box and get the next latest and greatest virus, not even having your Anti-Malware apps open to take a third of your processing power can save you from having to reinstall your precious OS from scratch.

And Windoze Restoration? What idiot would use that? Everyone knows that it’s buggy as hell. What Windoze needs is what the mac has — TIME MACHINE, which is an EXTERNAL backup of the entire system.

But for us mac users, Time Machine has become but a novelty — as I have found over a year of using Time Machine — IVE NEVER NEEDED TO RESTORE to a backup.

        • ~ says:

I do believe that most computers come with a backup drive which does something that is almost the exact same thing. Also, if that fails, you can burn all of the data onto a stack of discs to reinstall after a major virus. Besides, anti virus programs are updated nearly every day with new definitions of viruses. Also, the way you always put Windoze instead of Windows shows that you are just a fanboy of the Mac. So please just stop making flawed statements.

  35. bfellow says:

There’s no point of getting a Intel-based Mac if you’re running Windows to play games. You would just get a PC and save a $1000 on the Apple tax.

  36. lololololol says:

@ Random Wanker with no sense of humour…totally agree….

FOR THE RECORD PEOPLE!!!! PC IS PERSONAL COMPUTER…TAKE NOTE OF THE SECOND HALF “COMPUTER” IT MEANS “ALL” COMPUTERS….UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO ARGUE THAT A MAC ISNT A COMPUTER!

  37. jinxed says:

    True, True

  38. The Alchemist says:

Needs trollface in the last panel.

  39. I Am Not My Computer says:

Honestly, if you want games, why are you playing them on a personal computer of any sort? My computer is a tool – it does marvellously all the things I want it to, but I don’t want to be stuck sitting at my desk in front of it so I can play games. I have a big comfy papasan and a big screen television, and all my consoles and attendant games and remote controls within easy reach, in the living room, for that.

But then, I guess I’m not addicted to games that simulate white guys killing people (or people in the guise of aliens, it’s all the same thing). :)

    • Larry says:

PC games offer much more options and customization than console games. Besides, not all of us have uncomfortable desks and desk chairs.

    • Haha says:

So true – the only WIN on this page.
Consoles for games, computers for everything else. Therefore the fact that Windows can play games that Mac don’t is irrelevant.

    • Why you ask? because frankly your game console is just a Role Specific Computer. Also I’m able to connect my Windows PC to my 54″ HDTV, and also a Projector if I so desire. I can save my games to the hard drive, eliminating the need to get up and change disks each time I change games (and yes I can save the disks to the HD too)

So to end the the PC vs Game Console argument,
game consoles are PCs, and a PC can outperform any console if you’re willing to invest a lil $, lastly infinite backwards compatibility… My brand new computer can still play any game, any computer I’ve ever owned has ever been able to play.

as far as Macs go, I’ve used both enough to know they both crash equally, but Macs tend to be harder to fix, more expensive, and less compatible, my software works on my windows machine period. I don’t have to install WINE or Bootcamp, it just works, the first time.

    • GothicMonkey says:

Well if you want, have 2 computers. I have a laptop for school and as a “tool” as you say it.

And a gaming computer for, you guessed it, for gaming! I prefer computers for gaming because i can play ANY game on it. Want to play a ps1 game? Why the hell not, just get an emulator, and your set ^.^

And as for it not being comfy. Well there’s a reason we invented wireless keyboards and mouses. I had a friend who moved his couch to the computer. That was his chair. Was an epic place to game!

Also, for more of a good argument, see betablog2point0 comment. Makes some rather good points imo

  40. heather says:

    Ba-ZING. Point Hodgeman :D

  41. Gauth says:

This so reminds me of the Mac Switch from Rooster Teeth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiAgrrwL_mk

  42. Jorge says:

Oh! I really have fall in a nest of Mac guys, without any rights to windows reponses….

  43. spoopy says:

“Hi I’m Mac, and I’m a PC, so PC what are you doing?, oh you know just reformatting because of 1,000 virus i just got for right clicking”

don’t get me wrong, I’m a PC user with Windows XP Black Edition (mod) and although I like Windows cause unfortunately Linux is very great but if only someone invested money on the OS and make it more compatible with games and easier to use, then we would have an awesome FREE OS, not useless crap you have to buy for $300 dollars or more, and i mean both Mac and Windows, well of course that applies for people who like to do legit, I have a mod so….heh

    • nico says:

C’mon… recent versions of any Linux distro are as usable as Windows or MacOs. And way more powerful. I do all my work under Linux (I’m a neuroscientist and, as a hobby, a web developer) and have no problem whatsoever. I also play games, and wine does a good job in that regard. There’s also a growing number of native linux games, free and commercial. Maybe not many but, alas, I’m not 16 anymore and don’t really have much time to play…

    • RS says:

How do you get a virus by right-clicking? First time I’ve heard of that.

And maybe your Windows wouldn’t be fcuked and full of viruses if you actually paid for a legit copy. Don’t be ridiculous.

      • cherokeekid75 says:

RS..I think that post was an over exaggeration in an attempt to make a point. So missing the joke fail?

That is unless your post was a joke then I guess I failed.

  44. not alien! says:

    windows:”what are you doing mac?”

mac: “you know just using photoshop and adobe s stuff… ohh by the way im running on a core2duo pc, 2gb of ram and 250gb of harddisk which cost me 1500usd, isn t cool!!???”

    windows:”right”
mac:”and you, what are you doing windows?”

windows:”well i do everything you do… also play the lastest games in the market. by the way im running on an i7, 4gb ddr3, 500gb hd, ati moblity 4850… wich cost 1200 usd…

linux:”jajaja, you dont know nothing about code!”

mac and windows:”what the **** is he doing here!!!”

    • Angular Circles says:

      I like how you’re neutral.

But Windows can have Photoshop, too, so it doesn’t seem like it’s unique to Macs.

  45. sky says:

Perfekt timing – Valve yesterday announced they are nativly expanding the Steam Engine and Steamplatform to the Mac

    http://store.steampowered.com/news/3569/

  46. Kelly says:

PC vs. mac conversation aside, this is still one of the best Comixed in a very long time.

  47. Curly says:

Arguing on the internet is like fapping it. It feels good while you do it but in the end it just ain’t the same as the real thing!

    • GothicMonkey says:

      Reminds me of something else

“Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even if you win, you’re still retarded”

  48. mac user (but still) says:

I don’t understand why some mac users have to get so defensive when a little joke’s been made about how window’s better in some ways, while window’s suffered like a whoooole series of these kinda ads from mac yet hasn’t been as defensive. Mac users insecure much?

    • Beatus Mongous says:

I’ve seen it go both ways. Both sides get really defensive. It’s like people who buy black shirts vs. people who buy white shirts both getting their panties all in a wad, when really, they aren’t all that different.

I’m a Mac guy, and I prefer it. I still respect (and use) Windows all the time, as well as Linux. Whatever floats your boat, I don’t care. Just let me float my boat the way I want and leave me alone. That’s how people need to be.

However, I will say this one sparked more comments than I’ve ever seen on Comixed. Ridiculous.

  49. PC user for life says:

Arguing on the internet is also like competing in the special olympics, It doesn’t matter if you win, You’re still retarded…

Windows is garbage for anything except gaming, and that market is slowly being taken over by consoles. Most windows users are gonna have to restart now, just be sure to bookmark this page to continue reading my comment when your computer boots back up, assuming this comic/comment is even relevant at that point.

Mac is garbage because the hardware is proprietary, and its only a matter of time before their entire product line runs the iphone os (or some proprietary derivative of their os), why are they gonna do that, because they know your gonna buy it anyway.

Linux wins here, 250 days uptime (so far), out of my 8gb ram, i have NEVER gotten it to use more than 4gb, and that’s with preload running (loads the ENTIRE OS into RAM). Did I mention the software and os is completely free (with the exception of 2 applications that I know of…mathematica and crossover gaming). How about the fact that the OS is customizable down to how often your hard drive park their needles.

Microsoft Windows and Mac are currently being developed for THE SOLE PURPOSE OF MAKING A PROFIT, whereas the linux developers do it because they love the OS, they make nothing or close to nothing for doing what they do.

So my question is, who is going to do their job better, someone who is doing it JUST for the pay-check, or someone who would (and does) do it, regardless of pay, for the sole reason that they take pride in what they do.

I’m not implying that windows and mac are completely useless, they both have their uses. Windows is excellent for gaming, and mac is good at taking advantage of suckers who fall for flashy advertising, and attractive/substance-less products, I also have to say that steve jobs is THE master of marketing.

      • StarNoStar says:

Lol, in an argument about computers, you are going to tell the person who actually knows what he’s talking about to “shut up”.

In an argument about cars, do you tell the mechanic to “shut up”, or how about an argument about the structural integrity of a building…do you tell the architect to “shut up”.

      Thank you.
For a mac to be able match a PC, it’s price is going to be waaaaaaaaaaay higher.
Sure there are mac mouses that you can right click with, but that has to be bought seperately, and even that costs more than any PC mouse would cost.

      • Hawknight says:

You do realize the mouse argument is just retarded right? Sure you could pay 50 bucks for the Apple brand mouse or you could just buy any other USB mouse on the market.

      • Moron. FYI macs these days come with a mouse than has both left and right click, as well as a nice touch pad to scroll. All standard, twit. But in no way am I saying these are the best for gaming — in that case, you can buy ANY gaming mouse and use that with a mac.

Obviously you’ve never even used a mac.

      • MrNate3333 says:

    Today I used Windows 7.

wtf fanboys are the lamest loosers ever.

MAC are better than pc in some ways….. PCs are better than MAC in some ways….

GET OVER BEING FANBOY LOOSERS!!!!!! morons.

    • Anon says:

That’s the thing. Macs are not better in any way at all.
Sure they mught be easier to use, on account of how simple they are and the fact that you can’t do anything, but if you do that then you can’t justify buying such expensive machinery.

      • MrNate3333 says:

Can’t do anything how bout making your own Indie film for less than $1000 software wise???? final cut pro baby!!

  58. Gordon F. says:

I remember when they made all the good games for Mac and al the crappy ones for PC. Then, they realized that most people buy PCs because they’re not nearly as expensive as Macs, so they basically stopped making games for Mac altogether. At least Mac users will get to play Valve’s Source Engine games on the Mac… I wonder if we’ll be able to use G-Mod and stuff on the Mac….

  59. quadstrike says:

    steam spread to mac :/

  60. Joe says:

If you want a shitty computer to play games on, get a Windows machine. If you want a quality product that you can actually do work on, get a Mac. Any game developers that don’t have a Mac version are losing out on a lot of revenue.

    • Anon says:

You can’t do anything on a mac.
Even when the games are released for the mac, you won’t be able to play them well simply because of the crappy mouse.
And most gamers build gaming PC’s that are taylored to their own needs.
You can’t build a gaming mac. You have to pay for all of the useless junk included in it.

Macs are not quality products in any way shape or form.

  61. Wow. I knew there were fanboys, but I didn’t think it was that serious! I love Windows, myself. I also use Linux and FreeBSD. I’ve used Mac in the past, but there really isn’t anything to keep me there. I use Windows for the majority of my work and play. It’s just my preference. I know a lot of people use Mac’s and are happy as hell and couldn’t switch to Windows if they were forced to. It’s ALL personal preference. Nothing more. You can’t say the hardware is better, as it’s all the same now.

I didn’t think people got so serious and angry over the whole PC vs. Mac thing. Use what you want to use. Whatever you use is obviously the better OS…. for YOU. For me, it’s Windows.

  62. Anon says:

Valve is going to make mac games, but they’re all going to suck compared to the PC versions.
Can you imagine how irritating it would be to play TF2 or portal with only one mouse button? It’s possible, but annoying.
There is always the option of buying a programmable mouse for over $50, but thats just dumb considering how much you just wasted on your crappy laptop.
I bought my laptop for $350 and a wireless mouth for $15 and I can run TF2 perfectly.
A mac user on the other hand, would buy their laptop for $1000 and still not be able to do as much as me.
You can’t even say that macs are good if you want to be able to use a computer without having to worry about how it works or any of the technical stuff, because if you’re not then you shouldn’t be buying such overpriced hardware.

    • Huntarus says:

      April Fools Win.

    • MrNate3333 says:

the question does bill gates own apple computers? Is very reliable taking into consideration that many suspect that Bill Gates, or Microsoft owns approximately 005% of Apple, based on the fact that Macs are starting to use Windows XP, not to mention that Bill Gates, years ago, helped write code for Mac OS.

  74. random_nobody says:

Hey steam is coming to mac with all of its games so now this comic is null and void.

  75. Fill says:

Macs are PCs these days that can boot up Windows. So technically, if I can play Windows *and* Mac games on my Mac, then I can play more games than somebody with just a regular old pee-cee. ;’)

  78. Beatus Mongous says:

Guarantee the PC guy isn’t playing Otto Matic and Bugdom.

  79. the_man says:

the problem isn t what a mac can or can t run, the problem is that a mac cost SOOOOO much that the price isn t justified, if only for the design (and its like 300 box for the design). Why would you buy a mac then? And, on top of that, good luck upgrading your mac

  80. Wilson says:

    You’re all dorks.

    *my mac is better*

    *my pc is better*

  81. Christoball says:

Sad that PC’s only upside is people can waste away any possibility of a social life by spending their waking hours playing World Of Warcraft. When you do finally get away from your computer and try having sex (with yourself doesn’t count). It’s way better than anything your going to find on that computer of yours.

  83. Kingt34 says:

The PC Isn’t if he’s running on Vista or windows 7…. rofl damn things dont run any good games!

  84. ruperticus says:

Oh god why is this so true? I’m a mac user and the main reason I want a windows is for games because mac has nothing -_-

  85. karambiatos says:

WAIT if you’re already using windows on a mac? Why would you pay the extra money for a case that looks nice and has the same hardware you can get for a PC -_- Its common sense if you think about it.

  86. gladpants says:

yup on the votes, that seems about right for market share. 4711 pcs 337 macs… but wouldn’t know it, both total prices are the same…..

  87. Jeff Kee says:

Some of us run businesses off our computers, and if I have any spare time to play a video game, I’d rather play some more sports, or go kayaking, or read a book or something. This doesn’t convince me whatsoever.
