I can’t believe they gave the stinkin redcoats the green light sabers. As Rebels the American colonists should have had green, and DUH! the British w/ their empire should have had the red ones.
Actually, Americans shouldn’t even be occupying that country anymore. I may BE an American, but I don’t support this ludicrous, money sucking, time investing, life sacrificing war. There are more deaths than we seem to realize or care (in general, which is saddening), and as for ‘kicking their asses all over the desert’, we’re murdering innocents, breaking apart families with no affiliation, degrading their economy and have ruined the stability of their country, making them reliant on us (which means we have another financial responsibility, along with ‘helping’ Haitie while trying to figure out our own economic mess WITH a huge national debt (to China, which has been financially supporting us for years and can devastate America by wanting their money back at any time) already). This war has only proven that Americans, in their petrification of being threatened (as we’ve seen in all of our wars, including the one in the picture above), are irrational and unjust in a general sense of the terms. It’s even gotten to the point that NATO doesn’t support any of this war, which (if you know anything about the North Atlantic Treaty Organization) is a big mistake on our part.
As for TV in America – and this fact extends to internet sites as well – the news access to citizens is, sadly, limited. It’s filtered, to an excessive degree, but the average citizen is either ignorant of the fact or refuses to believe it (and I may be challenged on this point by those who read this). In other words, we are spoon fed any information that is seen as fit for the average, panicky citizen, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the death tolls (as well as many other facts) are a white lie. They are probably higher. What I’d like to see on our TVs are interviews with the families of the victims in the countries which we have broken NATO code in order to invade. I’ve read some, and it’s heart breaking to know that our gun happy ‘brave soldiers’ will invade homes, isolate the husband in a family of six, kneel him down in the same room as his family and shoot him until dead. News like that, I’d imagine, is probably all over Europe and Asia and Africa and Australia. But what to Americans see? ‘Six American soldiers died due to a child running at their car with bombs strapped around their chest.’
It’s just sick and wrong, that a child should have any reason to end their life like that. It’s not worth ‘kicking their asses all over the desert’. After all of this, it would be just as fair if the tables were turned and we were successfully invaded to suffer the same fate, and with the thinned support of NATO of late, they could have a civil and logical vote for that to happen.
