ok i love this idea/concept, but man these people just aren’t getting it. if i was ICHC i’d hire some people who actually understood what Yonkoma is and how to do it to save this really unique site from becoming a massive fail. it doesn’t take any intelligence to simply look and giggle at these things (and most people on here probably are trained to do), but smarts are required to set one up properly.
People don’t seem to care about format, and they don’t care that the way they spell and present things actually makes a difference in whether or not anyone will “get” the humour therein. ICHC doesn’t actually hire anyone for submissions; that’s done by the general populace. More’s the pity, so is the voting.
1) The first letter of each sentence should be capitalized.
2) “Ya” is, correctly spelled, “you”.
3) There is a difference between “its” and “it’s”. In this case, you used the wrong one.
4) Oh, and punctuation at the end works wonders, too.
The vote page is very very depressing. Are people seriously as unfunny as the submissions I see there? I didn’t laugh for 8 pages and then quit looking.
